The University of Pittsburgh School of Law recently was ranked number 52 amongst the nation’s law schools by U.S. News and World Report, and the Duquesne Law School a Catholic law school, oversees schools for American law students in several countries through its cutting-edge international law program. Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh does not offer a pre-law degree, but the campus’ Pre-Law Society helps students prepare for law school and legal careers. For students wanting to pursue paralegal careers or criminal justice jobs, the Bradford School and Duff’s Business Institute offer excellent programs.
